Prayer
Prayer is a key component of the Christian life. As such we take it very seriously here at Avra Valley Community Church. We have an active Prayer Chain which is currently being headed up by our pastor's wife Sandy Wetherbee.
Sunday school
We offer Sunday school for all ages and welcome all levels of Christian learning. Whether you are a brand new Christian or have followed Christ for many years come learn and be challenged through scripture with us.
Missions
Here at Avra Valley Community Church we believe that supporting missionaries both local and abroad should be a main priority of any church body. Currently we support six missionaries, two of which are spreading the gospel right here in Arizona. We are looking to bring our number back up to seven missionaries and are praying for one who is ministering in the United States as recently one of our stateside missionaries retired.
